The right approach for your wheel finish
Kerb marks, scuffs and a damaged finish can affect the appearance of your alloy wheels. Camerons Bodyshop in Perth offers wheel refurbishment enquiries for Volkswagen and other makes, with the repair approach agreed after assessment.
Diamond-cut and polished wheels
Diamond-cut wheels have a machined metal face with a protective lacquer finish. Our existing wheel refurbishment facility includes CNC lathe equipment. The wheel must first be assessed to establish whether further machining is suitable; the amount of material removed is determined by the wheel and repair requirements.
Painted alloy wheels
For a painted finish, discuss the damage and the finish you want to retain. Preparation and refinishing requirements depend on the wheel's condition. Tell the team if your wheels have previously been refurbished or refinished.
Assessment comes first
Not every wheel is suitable for refurbishment. Mention cracks, bends, vibration or pressure loss when you contact the team. Cosmetic refurbishment should not be treated as confirmation that a damaged wheel is safe to use.
Request a current quote
Please provide your vehicle registration, wheel size if known, number of wheels affected and photographs showing both the whole wheel and the damage. The cost depends on the condition, size and finish, so ask the team to confirm the price, what is included and the expected timescale before booking.
